Welcome
to the
Timewind hosted copy of the Zombler.org version of the d20 3.0
SRD. I've carried out
a few cosmetic changes to this version, and added a few extras from the
3.5E SRD.
You can browse the original Zombler HTML version here.
If it's the 3.5E SRD you're looking for, then you could take a look at www.d20srd.org.
The intro to the
original
zombler.org 3.0 SRD (Version 1.0a) is below. Note that the 3.0 RTF
version of the 3.0 SRD mentioned below is no longer available at the
Wizards of the Coast site - it's been superseded there by the 3.5
version, although there is still a copy at The
Open
Gaming Foundation.
Latest updates to the timewind hosted copy are on 18 November 2007 (corrections to spell summaries), and on 28 October 2020 (rehosting on timewind.duckdns.org from the now defunct timewind.demon.co.uk).
Welcome to the zombler.org site for the third edition of the srd.
While Wizards of the Coast still posts the individual .rtf files for the 3E SRD, yours truly, The Bishop, looked all over the web trying to find a good html version with a menu that doesn't go away by investigating material more deeply and that contained the entire pile of knowledge that is in the srd. While I found some things, most things had been replaced by the 3.5 SRD. My friends and I still play the 3E rules, and so this is the logical culmination of necessity and interest. I borrowed heavily from people on the internet who have done this type of thing before. Standing on the shoulders of giants, and whatnot.
This is a repository of information regarding the Standard Reference Document for the Third Edition of the game.
If you don't know what the System Reference Document is, you'd better start here.
The System Reference Document authors are: Jonathan Tweet, Monte Cook, Skip Williams, based on original material by E. Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson.
The d20 System Reference Document [Zombler style] is derived from the original SRD files on the official Wizards of the Coast d20 website. It was edited and reformatted by The Bishop based on previous formats by Bombshell and the dynamic duo of Sage & Sovelior.
The content is complete.
This SRD site is non-commercial. We at Zombler.org do not make any money from this site, or, arguably, anything else. It is in no way approved by, sponsored by, cold rocked by, stood up by, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast, Inc. We put this up so that people could use the 3.0 srd in their 3.0 games without having to churn through fifty or so rtf files. Hopefully someone will use it.
